Known as the “Faithful City” due to its loyal support of the King, Worcester suffered greatly in the Civil War leaving the Cathedral in a poor condition. Mention the name Worcester and generally people think of Lea & Perrins, Worcestershire Sauce and Royal Worcester Porcelain, however lesser known is Worcester’s glove trade. Until the late twentieth century at least three large glove manufacturers including Dents, operated in the city, and Queen Elizabeth II Coronation gloves were made at the Milore factory.

Founded in the city, Worcester is still the home of Lambs Removals and Storage. Local knowledge and a century of working in our community ensures a personalised, individual service to meet your requirements.
